Cybermonkey Studios consists of two main branches, focused on film and Flash animation, as well as producing various other artistic works. With locations in Washington, DC, Winnipeg, MB and Hamburg, NY, the studios are made up of a group of creative friends with an array of talents. Whether it be through film, animation, art, or any other method, our goal is to entertain, provoke thought, and express emotion.
The Studio was unofficially founded in early 2004, when Steel Shot wanted a studio name to work under for a film project. He chose Cybermonkey Studios in reference to a creature invented by Thrust Viper a year earlier. Thrust Viper was soon brought in, followed closely by fellow animator Zeff and writer Botanman. Since its creation, the studio has continued to improve and expand.
Reconstruction

What you see now is a quick temporary design to allow for content and news updates before one final overhaul. Although this simple design is nice, it won't be permanent for a few reasons. First of all, I didn't design or code it. All the graphics are mine, but with limited CSS and HTML knowledge, I was unable to code a site from scratch. Second, while this narrow format is fine for text, I'd like to have high quality movies fit on the page as well as maximize the space available for artwork. However, the navigation and layout of this new design resembles the final design's rather closely, so take this opportunity to orient yourself and give us some
feedback.
What's Going On

Currently, the site is going through a huge transformation, but there will be no signs of it until everything is done. Tomorrow, I'm leaving town for two and a half weeks, during which time I will try to make a few updates, but chances are, little will happen. What I've been up to recently is redoing all of the site images and layout to be narrower and centered, though this process is nowhere near complete. New to the site is my good friend Linus the Fish, who will have his own place on the redone artists page. He has extensive experience in PHP and is helping me with CSS. With this addition of a new, experienced, web administrator, Cybermonkey Studios is sure to undergo the same level of improvement as it did during the move from Lycos Tripod hosting to NetFirms. Once I return to working on the site after my return, expect to see all sorts of new content and improved layout. Until then, enjoy the holidays, and a happy new year!
I'm A Crouton

This is the first news post I have made because for a while, Steel Shot was Hitler. Until he reverts back to his usual racist, discriminating, segregating ways, I can actually put news on the site. Winter Break is approaching when we plan to make a sequel to the first part of our real life first-person shooter. You don't know anything about that but screw it. Also, my obese, old person who has become a plant mutant will be put on the art page in the near future. I have no flash in progress for some reason but Zumpa T has a few things in the works, mainly a Splinter Cell animation. Suck my salty cak.
